 CALLING ALL CHILI HEADS !  

Start looking in your cook books, haul out your big crock pots, spoons and aprons and start planning your favorite chili.

Hey, if making chili and entering the contest isn’t your thing, that’s o.k. – We need Tasters! Just come and enjoy - you can bring something else to share.

Bring your family, friends and neighbors and join us on this great evening of Christian fellowship, food and fun.

And as usual, we have some really super-duper great prizes for these five categories:

Best Chili, Hottest Chili, Mildest Chili, Most Unusual Chili,    Best Presentation

A beautiful CHILI TROPHY will be awarded to the maker of the Best Chili !

There will be raffle baskets and hopefully you’ll be a winner.

     This is the date the Boy Scouts of America - now known as Scouting America - was formed.  During this special annual event we will recognize ALL Scouting - including both current and former members of what is now known as Scouting America, and also Girl Scouts of the USA.

     On Scout Sunday, members of the Scout BSA Troop sponsored by Prince of Peace Church, Troop 516, will join us providing service as greeters, and more.

     Join us in honoring the connection between Scouting and faith and recognizing Scouts who are growing in their Duty to God.

Help warm some hearts, hands and heads this winter season. You are invited to bring new hats & gloves and/or mittens to our "Warm Them Up Tree" in the Narthex.

We are excited to celebrate Creche Sunday on December 7th. After the worship service, everyone is warmly invited to stay and view the beautiful creche displays. This is a special occasion for our community to appreciate the artistry and meaning behind each nativity scene.
