Stewardship to God
Mission & Ministry
When you hear the word STEWARDSHIP combined with CHURCH, you probably immediately think of money or pledge cards. But really, at Prince of Peace, we hope the word invokes thoughts of love and service – how we can steward God’s resources and help our members and communities in need.
POP is a generous, caring church where volunteers lead key ministries and share their time and talents for others. We depend on our members and followers to support our ministries not just through donations, but prayer and volunteering as well. We are a congregation that works together like a family, supporting each other and stepping up often to offer our skills and experience. Our goal is to grow a culture of gratitude and generosity at POP and develop lifelong stewards of our faith community.
Prince of Peace also has its own mini pantry where food and basic supplies are available 24/7. We first started with a micro-pantry in February of 2020, and upgraded to a mini-pantry in September of 2021. You can find the pantry outside our front door; there’s a bin underneath it for donations which are always appreciated.
Our church is also a place of healing, grace, and worship for other communities. We offer our building for outside organizations, including support groups, scouting, home-schooling, fitness, and other churches in need of service space. We are a welcoming congregation to all, ready to offer whatever support a group or person may need in our efforts to be generous and participate in God’s work in the world.
