Craig Felde
Acting Pastor
The Rev. Craig S. Felde
is Acting Pastor of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Woodridge, IL, and Pastor of Sojourners Pub Church, which holds services in pubs and bars in Chicago’s Western Suburbs. A graduate of Lewis University and Concordia Evangelical Protestant Seminary, he also holds graduate qualifications in Ministry from Cuddesdon College at Oxford University, UK; Religious Philanthropy from Indiana University's Lily School of Philanthropy; and Pioneer Ministry from Cliff College of the University of Manchester, UK. He has other varied interests, including world poverty programs, coaching youth soccer, and a long-standing love of classical music; is a decorated officer in the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary; and is a member of the Incident Command Staff at the USCG Marine Safety Unit Chicago. Pastor Craig has played timpani and percussion with the Joliet Symphony and at many local churches for over 45 years.
Kate Loeffler
Choir Director
Kate has led our dedicated choir in song for more than five years. She also teaches elementary general music in Justice, Il, and has a private music studio for voice, guitar, and piano students. As an alto, she has performed at the Auditorium Theater, Grant Park Music Festival, Holy Name Cathedral, and Fitzgerald’s. She received her Bachelor’s in Music Education from Roosevelt University in Chicago, and her Master’s in Music Education from VanderCook College of Music in Chicago. She lives in Woodridge and is the proud auntie to a niece and three nephews. In her free time, she likes to travel, read, and scrapbook.
Laura Niemiec
Pianist/Organist
Laura’s been a Woodridge resident since 1965. She started teaching piano as a freshman at Downers Grove North High School in 1978. She now manages and teaches the piano program at the Burr Ridge Park District. She also works as an accompanist with several local schools, and serves as a judge for both the Illinois Music Association and Grandquist music competitions. She married her soulmate in 2002 and together they have adopted and spoiled three beautiful beagles. She likes spending time with family and animals, cooking, entertaining, crafting, gardening, travel, and music. After serving as a substitute pianist at POP for several years, Laura became our full-time pianist/organist in 2019.
Gail Lisek
Administrative Assistant
Gail joined Prince of Peace as our administrative assistant in July of 2021. She ensures the communications, office and general logistics of the church run smoothly. She holds an Associate degree in criminal justice and has a marketing and project management background as well. She’s lived in the Chicagoland area all of her life. She recently got married this year and lives in Lisle. She is blessed with three grown children. She enjoys spending her time with family and friends, swimming, traveling, painting, and reading.
