Pianist/Organist

Laura’s been a Woodridge resident since 1965. She started teaching piano as a freshman at Downers Grove North High School in 1978. She now manages and teaches the piano program at the Burr Ridge Park District. She also works as an accompanist with several local schools, and serves as a judge for both the Illinois Music Association and Grandquist music competitions. She married her soulmate in 2002 and together they have adopted and spoiled three beautiful beagles. She likes spending time with family and animals, cooking, entertaining, crafting, gardening, travel, and music. After serving as a substitute pianist at POP for several years, Laura became our full-time pianist/organist in 2019.

Administrative Assistant

Gail joined Prince of Peace as our administrative assistant in July of 2021. She ensures the communications, office and general logistics of the church run smoothly. She holds an Associate degree in criminal justice and has a marketing and project management background as well. She’s lived in the Chicagoland area all of her life.  She is married and lives in Lisle. She is blessed with three grown children. She enjoys spending her time with family and friends, swimming, traveling, painting, and reading.

Choir Director

With a Bachelor of Music in Music Education and Voice Performance from Eastern Illinois University and a Master’s in Voice Performance and Pedagogy from Northern Illinois University, Todd has functioned for churches as music director, soloist, choral trainer, choral and instrumental conductor, choral ringer, accompanist, worship/band leader, worship arts coordinator, and has led Taize services. He was a longtime Chicago Symphony Chorus Regular, has sung roles in operas by Rossini, Donizetti, Bizet, and Puccini, in Gilbert and Sullivan operettas, and in musicals from “Guys and Dolls” to “Working.” He has maintained a residence-based voice studio since 1985, and taught voice at Downers Grove High School for eighteen years. In his role of choir director here at Prince of Peace, Todd has two mottos: “You can’t do anything wrong here” and “For the perfection of their art is their prayer.” Todd is happiest when holding a cat.
