With a Bachelor of Music in Music Education and Voice Performance from Eastern Illinois University and a Master’s in Voice Performance and Pedagogy from Northern Illinois University, Todd has functioned for churches as music director, soloist, choral trainer, choral and instrumental conductor, choral ringer, accompanist, worship/band leader, worship arts coordinator, and has led Taize services. He was a longtime Chicago Symphony Chorus Regular, has sung roles in operas by Rossini, Donizetti, Bizet, and Puccini, in Gilbert and Sullivan operettas, and in musicals from “Guys and Dolls” to “Working.” He has maintained a residence-based voice studio since 1985, and taught voice at Downers Grove High School for eighteen years.
