The Good Friday services focus on the betrayal, suffering, crucifixion, death, and burial of Jesus. Our music and readings are fashioned to help us understand that the Christ, the Son of God, lies dead in the tomb. Lights will gradually dim and give way to total darkness as we contemplate the darkness that surrounded Jesus when He willingly took all our sin on Himself that we might be forgiven. We exit in silence on Good Friday, mourning as the first followers of Jesus did on that first Good Friday. We welcome all to this powerful service.
