Dear Members/Worshippers of Prince of Peace,

The last few months, the Church Council has reviewed Prince of Peace’s Constitution, By-Laws and Continuing Resolutions. The Council made a motion, and it was unanimously approved for the changes below. The Council recommends the changes be voted on at the upcoming Annual Congregational Meeting on January 29, 2023. The changes are to the following sections:

By-Laws:

C8.01.01 Members (throughout the documents the word member is changed to read

member/worshipper to be more inclusive)

Continuing Resolutions:

C13.07.A01 Functional Committees

C13.05.06 Finance Committee

C13.07.A04 Evangelism and Mission Outreach Committee

Attached is the By-Laws and Continuing Resolutions for you to read before the upcoming Annual Congregational meeting where the proposed changes will be voted on. You will find the proposed new wording and below that section is how the present constitution wording reads fir your comparison,
