18TH CHILI COOK-OFF A BIG SUCCESS

     On Saturday evening Feb 4, 2023, 65 members, families and friends gathered at POP for the 18th Chili Cook-off. 

     There were 7 chili contestants competing in the 5 different categories. First place for the Best Chili trophy was taken by Nate B, in second place was Stef’s sister; Hottest Chili was won by Pastor Tim, second place Nate B; Mildest Chili was won by Chris E, second runner-up was Tess M; Most Unusual Chili was won by Jim A, second runner-up Tess M; Best Presentation went to Nate B; with second place going to guest Pat McGrath.  All 7 chilis were greatly enjoyed along with the delicious sides and desserts. 

     The 3 Raffle baskets were won by Bob (friend of Curt R.), Denise K., and Kirsten K.s Mom. The generous free will donations for this evening’s Fund Raiser totaled $676.00.

      SPECIAL THANKS! to Curt Reisenbichler for serving as our Master of Ceremonies, to Chris Ewert for making the 3 beautiful Raffle Baskets and to all those who helped in setting up and the clean-up for this Chili Cook-off: Nate B., Stef T. Curt R., Barb A., Chris and Will E., Judy Mc. and to those who made the chilis and the many guests who 

attended.

     The Fellowship, A-Men and BOOM teams THANKS EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU for making this evening of fun, food and fellowship such a Big Success.
